After receiving acupuncture for a martial arts injury in 2016, Mercedes quickly realized she wanted to share this powerful, natural healing modality with the world. 

In 2017, Mercedes embarked on an immersive 5-year journey to learn Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medical Arts. She attended New York College of Health Professions in New York, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Professions and a Master's degree in Acupuncture.

Her evolution into spirituality began after a spiritual awakening experience in the Spring of 2021. At that time, Mercedes was guided to commence practicing Reiki, first for her own healing and then for the healing of others. Mercedes became a Reiki Master Teacher in August 2021 and continues to develop her skill as a Reiki practitioner and Medical Intuitive.

Mercedes actively lives a lifestyle based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and incorporates spiritual mediumship into her medical practice as a Medical Intuitive and energetic channel. She happily shares this knowledge with her friends, family, and patients, promoting balance, health, and well-being through acupuncture, food therapy, herbs, body work, energy work, spirituality, and the healing arts.
